Jaclyn Jones

Jaclyn Jones, MHA has over five years of experience in higher education with a specific emphasis on providing support for the academic medicine community. Her experience and education within the fields of academic medicine and healthcare have led to a passion in project management, process improvement, business and financial planning, and data driven decision-making.  

Most recently, Jaclyn served as the Operations Manager for the Emory University School of Medicine Dean’s Office where she supported the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Associate Dean of Research. In this role, she was responsible for project management of school-level operations projects and special initiatives, providing support for workstreams across human resources, space and facilities, communications, IT, and research administration. Jaclyn also led school-wide faculty recruitment and retention efforts, including process improvement initiatives focused on reducing hiring turnaround times, improvements to data reporting validity, and overall enhancements to the user experience.

Jaclyn started her career as a healthcare administrator, where she managed the day-to-day operations of a long-term care facility. While new to Georgetown but not DC, she earned her Master of Health Administration from George Washington University and a BS in Health Science with a minor in business administration from the University of Florida.
