Closing Phase

image of check mark in shield to indicate closed or complete

During the closing phase of the Project Management Life Cycle, project success criteria should be evaluated and validated, to ensure they have been met. Support is transitioned to the proper group for ongoing maintenance, and all stakeholders are made aware that the project is closed.
