Closing Phase

During the closing phase of the Project Management Life Cycle, project success criteria should be evaluated and validated, to ensure they have been met. Support is transitioned to the proper group for ongoing maintenance, and all stakeholders are made aware that the project is closed. The project manager also meets with key stakeholders to document lessons learned.
