Michelle Healey


Michelle Healey offers almost 10 years of higher education experience, especially focused on student affairs, change management, and talent development. Michelle has worked across the district, as well as in the south/midwest, including roles at The Catholic University of America in Admissions, George Washington University in Alumni, Student Involvement, and Orientation, Vanderbilt University in Class-Year Programs, Washington University of St. Louis in Orientation, and most recently George Mason University overseeing Orientation and a multi-year redesign of the program. Within all of these spaces Michelle led process improvement plans and created systems still intact today, especially for project and stakeholder management. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Corporate¬†Communications and a Master’s of Education from Vanderbilt University in Higher Education Administration. She currently lives in Old Town Alexandria where she enjoys trying new restaurants and enjoying nature trails nearby.¬†
