Institution-Wide Strategic Projects
Campus Safety and Security Plan and Implementation
Lead Client: Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Office of the General Counsel
Lead the analysis by an external firm of university campus safety intended to make recommendations for improvements to safety and security in all university spaces. Project manage efforts to address immediate safety issues raised through the study. Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts for a newly established Vice President for Public Safety position.
Common Application Pilot Implementation
Lead Client: Office of the Provost
Project management for the Common Application Pilot implementation as a modification to the undergraduate admissions process to ensure the university recruits a diverse class and maintains its applicant quality in a changing environment.
Academic & Student Experience Projects
Capitol Campus Student Services
Lead Client: Office of the Provost
Facilitate the development of a vision for service delivery of student services at the Capitol Campus, in particular on the 4th floor of 111 Massachusetts Avenue.
Medical Center Faculty Performance Management Process
Lead Client: Medical Center
Support updating and launching faculty performance management practices and materials to monitor performance and facilitate progress reports for department chairs on faculty who have low effort coverage.
Qatar Campus Study Abroad Expansion
Lead Client: Qatar Campus
Lead an assessment of the feasibility, scalability, and sustainability of the potential expansion of study abroad locations for Qatar Campus students in response to ongoing global challenges. Efforts include academic, operational, and financial considerations to align future programs with student needs and institutional priorities while creating new opportunities for growth.
School of Continuing Studies Certificate Program Market Analysis
Lead Client: School of Continuing Studies
Guide the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) Professional and Custom and Executive Education teams in developing recommendations for enhancing its portfolio, including the composition of the existing portfolio and new opportunities for the portfolio, operational models and processes needed to support the portfolio, and resources needed to implement the recommendations and suggested prioritization.
Student Employment Workflows
Lead Client: Office of the Provost
Conduct a current state analysis to document the hiring process for student workers across the university, from undergraduate through Ph.D. students, to develop and implement recommendations to improve the financial management and legal compliance of student hiring.
Research Administration Projects
Central Research Organization Transition
Lead Client: Office of the President
Project management for the development of a university-wide central research organization, including recruitment of a Chief Research Officer position and organizational and budgetary re-alignment of the research administration offices that will report to that position. Additional project management for the development of priorities for enhancing research computing resources for faculty and research administration.
Federal Research Grants Analysis and Response Support
Lead Client: Medical Center
Project management support for the Stop Work Order Task Force in developing recommendations for senior leadership about a strategy to respond to the changing landscape of federal research funding while continuing to support the university’s core mission.
Core Administrative Projects
Event Management Platform Requirements and Business Case
Lead Clients: Georgetown Event Management Services, Capitol Campus Events, University Information Services, and Office of the University Registrar
Project management for determining whether the existing event management platform (EMS) can address requirements and development of a business case for a new platform.
Learning Management System Implementation
Lead Client: University Human Resources
Project management for the implementation of Workday Learning, Workday’s learning management system, to allow for content centralization and one-stop-access in a single system to learning and development resources for all staff university-wide.
Procure-to-Pay Review and Improvement Recommendations
Lead Client: Office of the Chief Financial Officer
Support the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) in performing a university-wide review of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, from beginning of the purchasing process through final supplier payment, and including all purchasing areas, focusing on a comprehensive review of the current state, benchmarking of 20+ institutions, evaluation of recommendations for phased next steps, and community engagement around the initiative to prompt future change management.
Student Affairs Strategic Planning
Lead Client: Division of Student Affairs
Design and facilitation of a strategic planning process for the Division of Student Affairs, including a shared vision, mission, and goals aligned with Georgetown’s Jesuit values, enabling functional teams to collectively serve students and their families more effectively.
University Budget Committee Administrative Unit Reviews
Lead Client: Office of the Chief Operating Officer
Support the University Budget Committee (UBC) leadership to develop a consistent and structured framework and formal charter to guide its regular review of administrative units. Additional support for the implementation of the framework and charter by managing the initial reviews for Mission and Ministry, Planning and Facilities Management, and University Information Services
